Great cruise!! by
A Traveler from Dallas, Tx Sailing date: Oct 2009Pros: the service and cleanliness Cons: more time in Cozumel and a different choice than Progresso as the second port to deboard. Wow. I dont know where to start because there were so many pluses onboard. The food was great and always available. I never waited in line. The eating areas were always very clean. The work out room was a must for me, esp after refusing to miss any meals. There were so many things to do. It was impossible to ever get bored. The activities were spaced nicely. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and the rooms were freshened up twice daily!
The sit down dinners wer amazing!! The menus were wonderful and the service was impeccable! Carnival really does cater to all age groups so I can take the kids or just the 2 of us adn I know we will have an equally good time! I was defintely impressed and will cruise again, hopefully soon. Ship QualityThe layout was very nice. It took a few days to get to really know the ship as it is quite large. Dining/FoodThe food is top notch and always available, which is nice for me as I often eat at odd times. This also avoids waiting in lines. Stateroom Qualitythe staterooms were cleaned twice daily adn there were always decorated towels on the bed for our entertainment. Ship Staff QualityThe staff were all extra friendly and went out of their way to give extra. We enjoyed everything from the time we stepped on the ship until we stepped off the ship back home. The evening dinning was wonderful. Our waiter was the best. He was very personable and made us have a wonderful time. My husband and I was celebrating out 11 years and our friends were celebrating their 1st year of marriage. If you want a pretty resonable vacation, take a cruise. You wont find anything cheaper if you take in consideration...HOTEL, MEALS, ENTERTAINMENT, ect.. We have already planned on our next Cruise with out children next SEPT. 2010 Ship Quality

Exceeded my expectations! by

I LOVED the staff - unbelievably friendly and loved that they were from all over the world! I liked the activities, comedians, dance parties, the towel animals, exursions and the overall relaxation and pampering mood! Ship QualityThe ship was always clean! It didn't feel that big or difficult to get around. All the neon felt a little dated but other than that, it felt like one big fun hotel! Dining/FoodOverall the food was ok. I ordered chicken about three times and each time it was pretty dry. There were a few meals that I really, really enjoyed but for the most part, the food was average. Dining times were convenient and the ambiance was lovely. Stateroom QualityThe size was bigger than I thought! I loved the flat screen tv! The beds were comfortable and the condition was very clean. The shower was a bit smaller than I would like but next time I'll get an upgrade! Ship Staff QualityStaff was amazing - very, very warm and inviting. Smiles were everywhere and they all seemed to really enjoy what they were doing. Well Worth in Every Way!!! by

Our waitstaff (Jorge and Kevin) were amazing. Thank you for sitting us next to great people. We are keeping in touch with them. We went on this cruise for our five year anniversary and will be back! We found that we were never asking for anything or asking questions about anything. Thank you for keeping us informed and for making this a stress free past five days. We never ever felt the ship rock and we did have a mini storm. The excursions were amazing and so were the ports of call! We especially liked the elegant night. The lobster was to die for! The last night was a sad night as it was back to reality, but it left us wanting more. We will be back! Thanks again for the wonderful memories! Ship Quality

It was awesome by

It was nice and the staff was very nice and ready to serve you. It was so relaxing to step out your balcony in the Penthouse Suite and see the sun rise and set. I strongly suggest the balcony if you are traveling with kids. Ship Quality

Exceptional vacation by

First time cruiser by
A Traveler from Texas Sailing date: Jul 2009Pros: friendly crew Cons: food We were just a little nervous about our first cruise, but I am so glad we were fortunate enough to sail on Carnival Ecstasty. It was more enjoyable than we could ever expected. The crew was very friendly. Our stateroom was kept clean and neat. We were apprehensive about seasickness, but our sailing experience was smooth with beautiful weather. The passengers that we spoke with were in good spirits and enjoying themselves as we were. Probably, the most impressive experience was when we left something of value in our stateroom as we disembarked. We did not even realize this until we had been home a couple of days. I promptly called Carnival, and the representative was very helpful while I explained the problem. Two weeks later, our lost item was in our mailbox. What a truly wonderful experience! We definitely will sail with Carnival again! Ship Quality

Cruise with my sisters by

The shore excursion to Sandal's in Montego Bay, Jamaica was a very expensive trip for the experience. The service there was terrible, the food was not good, as there was very little of it. That could be because of the arrival time being only 1 hour before their lunch was over. The beach was very pretty, but did not enjoy seeing bedroom activity on the beach cabana's. Sure made me say I would never go there again. It was not a great experience
